This engine configuration features the correct solid lifter cam and twin-carb setup that made the 409 famous, delivering big-block torque with a distinctive high-performance feel. The car was repainted in its original Palomar Red some years ago and still presents very well, with a deep shine and clean lines. Exterior styling cues like the twin rear antennas, proper Super Sport badging, and polished trim give this Impala an unmistakable presence on the road or at a show.
